Our dishes are made with care from scratch and we make use of premium, local produce based on season and availability. With us you will be served traditional, Norwegian local food with a twist of our time. A good dining experience in good company at Røisheim will be a cherished memory. We will do our utmost to ensure that your stay and dining experience with us is something you will remember.

The food

Dinner

When the chef rings the food bell in the clock tower at 19.30 it is time for dinner in the old log dining room, this is an important part of the experience of staying at Røisheim. Every evening we present a 3 or 4 course set party menu with wine recommendation. Local food is always on the plate with fish from the fjord, meat from mountains, local herbs from the surrounding area and mushrooms from the forest to name a few. The use of local produce and flavors from nature's treasure chest will be a natural starting point for everything served with us. We do everything we can to take care of the original flavors.

Today's dinner will always be presented to all the guests and you will know where the ingredients came from. If you want to have dinner at Røisheim without being a guest, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

Breakfast

We want to give our guests the best possible start of the day with our breakfast buffet, which is open from 8-10 pm. We serve freshly brewed coffee or local herbal tea at the table and a rich buffet with a selection of local pates, cured ham, smoked fish, vegetables, cheese, jams and eggs. We know many of our guests revisit due to our breakfast and hope you will remember the taste of our homemade bread, freshly brewed coffee or something else from the hearty breakfast buffet.

Matpakke

Til frokost får du mulighet til å lage deg en deilig matpakke og fylle termosen med kaffe til dagens tur. Du skal glede deg til å åpne matpakken og nyte den ekstra skiven med noe godt på, enten du er på fjellet eller i bilen til ditt neste reisemål.

Lunch package

For breakfast, you will have the opportunity to prepare yourself a delicious packed lunch and fill the thermos with coffee for the trip of the day'. You should look forward to opening your packed lunch and enjoying it whether you're up in the mountains or in the car to your next destination.
